The Mobile Robotic Arm is basically a manually controlled platform which uses Caterpillar type track belt locomotion. It is quite evident from the name that it will be used for pick & place operations, therefore it has a gripper with 1 DOF. The gear box is dominantly a mechanical assembly which uses a Worm gear assembly and hence can lift heavy loads. The platform is rear wheel driven wherein two high torque DC motors of 12V, 45 r.p.m. rating are used, additional two motors are used in the gear box and gripper assembly. Details: Complete DIY kit made from high quality laser cut metal , acrylic and plastic components Consist of 4 D.C motors rated for 45 rpm at 12V Unique caterpillar track modular belt for rough terrain use Wired Joystick control of the mobile platform. Mechanics: The robot chassis is made from ultra-tough MS structural plates, and custom plastic components. Tracks with durable PP molded sprockets which provides the robot with excellent traction.
